Shame
The members of the Colorado Supreme Court should feel a deep sense of shame. They have taken it upon themselves to dictate for whom the citizens of Colorado cannot vote. They have no right to act as authoritarians and rewrite the rules.
The members of this court should be removed from the bench. The lawyers who brought this case should be disbarred and their client should be fined.
These people have collectively violated my home.
I consider Colorado and this country my home, and I believe the residents of my home should abide by the rules by which we have agreed to live. We have ways to change the rules that do not include judicial fiat.
My sense of home comes from having been a resident of Colorado for eighty years and having an ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War.
My belief in following the rules comes from personal experience and example. I swore an oath to defend the Constitution as an Army officer. My father swore the same oath as a career Army officer and so did my grandfather as a U. S. Senator and so did my great-grandfather as a Colorado Governor.
Shame on these Judges who believe they have a right to rewrite our rules.
You have less to fear from one man running for office in the short term than you do in the long run from the authoritarians who will bend or break the rules to prevent him from running.
Consider the dangers of misguided actions of today.
Finally, impeach and remove Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the whole executive cabinet for not abiding by the laws set forth in the Constitution.
